| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 4, 2009 Bottle… Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, fluffy, white head. Great retention. Yeasty, lemony aroma with a whisper of pale grains. Light-bodied with lively carbonation. Well-balanced and very refreshing. Short, crisp, clean finish. This is a light beer that lives up to what it’s supposed to be – low calorie and thirst quenching – without being offensive, overly sweet or completely flavorless. Goes down nicely on a hot summer day. Cletus (5058), Connecticut, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 29, 2009 Pours gold with a white head. Smells of dry malt with a stray floral note. Tastes grassy and watery with some peppery splashes on the finish. Cornfield (4972), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 13, 2009 Bottle from Binny’s beverage Depot In Orland Park, Illinois: It seems from the description ("a crisp, refreshing ale without the extra calories") that this is bland by design. Clear yellow/gold in body, it’s capped by a short-lived little head. No lace. The light aroma is honeyed grainy malt, and that’s what it tastes like, too. There’s a dash of grassy bitterness at the end that lingers a while. Okay for a lawnmower brew. JPDIPSO (4932), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Light golden color with a diminished off-white head. Pale malt, grain and grass in the aroma. Starts with bits of malt and honey in the flavor. Middle has some hay and grass. FInish gets drier with more grain and hay. Feels is a little prickly, but ok. A simple, boring ale. Light husky malts and a crisp fairly bright hop note. Malty body, thin finish. There’s a slim chance I’ll drink it again.
