| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Redhook Sunrye is a slightly hazy pale yellow ale with a thick, soft, bone white head. The head retention and lacing are excellent. There isn’t much aroma here-- possibly lemon, maybe lemon cleanser. It is quite thin, bubbly and a bit alkaline. It has a unique flavor. I’m getting fenugreek here. There are notes of rye and lemon. It’s lawnmower beer. BuckeyeBoy (1689), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 11, 2008 Light sweet mild grainy aroma. Golden colored brew with a fizzy head. Light sweet, just the smallest hint of rye. Finishes pretty clean. Just not a lot going on here. One might say uninteresting. wcampbell (584), Central, South Carolina, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Aug 5, 2008 Decent. I am not a fan of rye beers but you can barely taste it in this one. Not much going on. Some wheat and citrus flavor. Lightly sweet. Pale lager taste. chandler0201 (358), Durham, North Carolina, USA
