Commercial Description:
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

This was tated at a local bar from the tap. The head was small but held up. The color was a light yellow. The ale was a refreshing drink but not special. Pleaseant taste.

Light and cloudy golden with a slight white head, this is a light bodied brew with a very suppressed flavor profile. Watery with a lemony middle and very dry wheat finish. Rye presence is very subdued with only a hint during the swallow.

Draft pours light golden, large frothy white head, subtle carbonation, with very sticky lacing.   Aroma of malts, maybe some wheat/rye, and light citrus notes.   Flavor is malty, yet rather wheaty.   Full mouthfeel, medium bodied.   Finishes light, fairly crisp.   This year is much better than last years.   A good summer offering.

Nothing too complex about this beer, but it is definitely a refreshing beer when you are out in the sun.

Pours a light golden color, with a small white head. Aroma is a little fruity and sweet. Bitter and grainy flavor. It seem like there’s a little sweetness in there somewhere. Easy drinking, but nothing special.

Gold Coloring. No Head. Smells Liike Budweiser. Little Taste Here.. Maybe A little Bread Flavor... Not Good.

Pours a piss-gold color with minimal head. Aroma is very grain-ish. The taste is of, well... rye. Bread, grain, with a little wheat... Didn’t care for it.

Keg at HeRftTDrF’s poured a cloudy unfiltered light amber with a nice head and decent lacing. Aroma was bread and yeast and slightly sweet. Tasted like a Hef, wheaty and yeast, with that cloudy feel on the palate. A pleasant brew that seems a bit under rated. Maybe the bottle lacks something.
