Commercial Description:
Introducing Redhook Sunrye, a light, refreshing summer beer brewed with six barley malts, including a touch of organic rye. The opalescent golden color of Sunrye is a result of its unfiltered nature. Light and crisp, this brew was made for slaking summer thirsts.

Cloudy golden color, no head. Taste is light and refreshing, but I can’t find any rye in there. Still, not a bad beer for drinking in the summer heat.

This was good when it was ice cold. Very light and refreshing. But as it warmed, it took on an odd, bitter taste. A good, mid level summer refresher.

This has barely any rye in it and so is quite different from the German ’roggen’ beer style. Yet, the small amount of rye seems to give this beverage a light, wheat taste, similar to a witbier. I find this one of the best summer quenchers rivaled by maybe some of the hoppier IPAs. A wonderful summer brew.

This beer is underrated, I suspect that people don’t understand it. Pours a nice deep canary. Great citrus, hoppy aroma, with a citrus, hop, yeast, fruity finish. Nice complexity. This beer deserves to be rated higher here.

A wonderful golden looking appearance. It is surely a summer beer. One of the better redhooks.

old bottle. straw colored with a medium white head, lots of carbonation. Smells like hardly anything. Maybe some hay. Tastes like hardly anything. Mostly corn with some malt and a little bitterness to finish. Uninteresting.

Looked almost like a wheat beer but didn’t have much of a taste. It would definitely taste good after a hot day in the yard.

blah was malty and citrusy at first but then gave way to a corny malty taste. It almostreminded me of a low-carb beer. had from a botttle so could not get an appearance.
