hopscotch (4758), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Aug 11, 2003 Mostly clear, sunshine gold brew. Small, frothy white head.
The nose is yeasty with leather and apricot notes.
Mild citrus and butterscotch flavors. A bit thin. Dry rye notes.
Light-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and fizzy carbonation. Short, crisp, clean finish. I guess I'll go against the grain here and hand out a good score. Great beach beer! It is what it is... a very light ale.
BückDich (4618), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 11, 2003 Slight hazy urine colored. Chalkboardish cloying wheat aroma. Bland flavor. Wet and sour finish. I don't like this one, I think that follows the trend of Redhook beers.
