Maybe slightly malty with caramel. Tastes pretty much akin to aroma with a hint of nuttiness. Not bad not great but $6 a six it’s worth a shot. TikiE (360), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 9, 2007 Nothing very special about this beer. Doesnt really smell like anything except for that smell in your refridgerator that you cant find. Tastes pretty good though, almost sweet. Its good in the fact that I feel that guy on the bottle is blowing down my throat. Beerlando (2349), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Pours a clear light orange-amber color. A small, fizzy white head quickly subsides, leaving behind a thin layer. Random flares of lacing coat the glass well. The aroma shows toasted caramel, toasted grains, and some mild floral hops. The flavor is essentially the same, with caramel, toast, drying grains, and some bitter floral hops. Pretty well balanced, but lacking real substance. Medium bodied, finishing clean and semi-dry. Decent beer, but a bit boring for my liking. Beerdedone (1885), Croydon, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 8, 2007 Bottle sampled at sl holiday beer event. Pours a rich amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet caramel, citrus notes and some floral hops. Light to medium bodied with a good balanced flavor of roasted malt and hop aroma and has a nice bitter finish. cazort (419), Newark, Delaware, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 7, 2007 Very hoppy aroma. Smooth and hoppy, a unique combination. The hops have a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Fairly malty. A little caraway taste emerges, which I dislike. This beer has a lot of bite, a lot more than I expect from this style. Although I like it overall, there are many unpleasant tones in it. I especially dislike the character of the hops, although I appreciate the smoothness combined with the hoppiness. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Dec 6, 2007 This is a wierd one. Aroma was very weak but could pick up some caramel malt. Pour was a nice caramel brown with a thin white ring for a head that leaves quickly. Taste was a little flat and not very big. There’s some caramel malt in there with a slight hoppy aftertaste, but overall not much going on. Collint (463), Sylva, North Carolina, USA
