Crushed with Jakebra at BSAF. Ooh, never knew tart, sour raspberries could be so delicious. Got some honey in there that’s smooth as hell. Excellent.

Cloudy dark amber color with a sour cherry smell. Mild sweet tangy flavor that coats the mouth with a great after taste. Pretty good stuff. First beer of the day at the Belgium Beer festival, Pizza Port Carlsbad CA.

Draft @ Falling Rock, Denver. Sits for hours in the glass illuminating the room in red. Atop is but a lone halo...everlasting. The nose was of sour fruit undercut with sweetness reminiscent of honey. Flavors exhibited a sweet and sour balance allowing the fruity raspberry and strawberry notes to rise...This is some drinkable stuff, but it aint no la folie. Its akin to a syrup in a berliner weisse...a good berliner weisse needs a syrup, not. La folie? Come on, motherfucker...LaFolie needs syrup like..uh...I’m bad at analogies.

sampled on tap at the 5th Boulder Strong Ale Fest. poured clear red with white head. nose was realy nice like raspberry la folie. taste is sorta like a raspberry fruit beer version of la folie, reminisent of NG Raspberry Tart and Belgian Red combined. tasty stuff.

On tap at Falling Rock in Denver, served in a wine glass. Dark reddish-brown color with a small beige head and good lacing. Aroma is berries and honey. Both sweetness and tartness are evident. Flavor is mostly sweet, but with a little wild tartness, with raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, black cherry, honey, and sweet malt. Medium body with somewhat prickly carbonation and a smooth palate.

On tap at the Pizza Port Belgian Beer Party. Pours a red amber with a small head. Aroma is fruity and funky. Some wood and some sweetness. Flavor is sweet and tart, cherries and funk. The honey and mead qualies stand out nicely and balance out the funky sourness of the La Folie. Sharp on the palate. Prefer the La Folie stand alone, But this is still pretty good.
