Clear medium light red color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is honey, berry - blackberry, perfume. Flavor is heavy sweet with a average to long duration, fruity - berry. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat. [20090922]

Oct 24, 2009 Bottle, 8%. Mildly chemical, plasticky, waxy aroma. Clear pink colour. No head. The flavour is sweetish, berry-like and slightly waxy. I guess it is drinkable, but not my kind of mead.

Oct 8, 2009 Sampled at WBF in Durham. This tasted like a black raspberry sode with an alcohol flavor to it. It was a nice break from all of the beers we had been trying but not something I could drink more than the couple of ounces that were served to me.

Sep 30, 2009 Clear pale pink. Aroma of alcohol and berries. Flavor is basically light honey, berries, with some medicinal notes on the end. I am not a mead expert, but this was not that great.

Sep 25, 2009 Ruby colored brew with hints of violet and a small vanilla ring for a head. Aroma is dark candied fruit and flavor of raspberries with a touch of honey sweetness. Medium mouthfeel if not a bit syrupy. Pretty tasty.
