Dry, slightly bitter taste of sweet honey and tart raspberries. Although it is my least favorite mead from Redstone, it is still refreshingly light bodied, smooth and drinkable with well-hidden alcohol. jeffwilliams11 (310), hooterville, Michigan, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 27, 2008 I remember when I first had this on tap at Pap. It was the same night I tasted Stone 10th (FUH-RESH) for the first time. That night ruled. This is a very light mouthfeel on tap - darker strawberries and very liquid raspberries in the aroma and flavor. Honey tastes purple. Not the world’s most complex beverage. Bottle was a gift. Very sweet, fruity aroma, mostly honey and raspberry (no surprises there.) Ruby red in color, no head. No a sparkler, but a bare hint of effervescence. Sweet, well balanced honey raspberry taste. Alcohol is evident, but not overpowering. Not a huge mead fan, but this was a nice variant that I enjoyed. Hank1980 (765), Athens, Georgia, USA

Taste is fruity, and lightly honey, with blackberries and booze being the main characters. Finish is booze. Mouth is pretty thin and carbonated. michael-pollack (2728), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA
