Commercial Description:
This is our first mead released in July 2001. To-date we receive more requests and attention for Black Raspberry Nectar then for any other one of our meads! With the mouth feel and texture of beer and the light taste of a lower alcohol mead this beverage is the very definition of "refreshing".

A red mead. The aroma is sweet and dominated by black berries. The flavor is sweet with stron notes of black berries and only light notes of honey. The alcohol is felt along the edges of the tongue.

Bright ruby red color. Minimal head. Well carbonated and fairly light bodied. Sweet honey base with an well balanced raspberry flavor and tartness that doesn’t overpower the rest of the brew. Very smooth and easy to drink. Wouldn’t want to have more than a small glass, however.

$14 at Spec’s.... Rich ruby red colour ... berry + fruit with light alcohol in the nose .. very smooth but aftertaste is quite as slick .. is very drinkable ..an interesting spin on mead, but maybe mediocre.. enjoyable but not really worth the cost, but happy i tried it...

I recived a bottle of this and it is wicked good. The mead pours a reddish body with a pink fizzy head. the smell of rasberries. The taste is just like the smell and sweet. Hi carbonation but just plain good. Keep in mind the style when you try it!

Draft. Pours a reddish color with a pink head. The Aroam is pure sweet with lots of fruit. The taste is sweet. Almost like a syrup. If you like sweet fruity beers you will like this. If not look elsewhere.

Bottle: Courtesy of thedm and hotstuff. This was much different than any other mead I’ve had. It was much more berry-oriented rather than the honey. Somewhat floral as well. Dry, quite carbonated and finishes with a sweet and tart blackberry honey taste. Good, yet different. It poured a beautiful light pink color.

Draft@the AZ Strong Beer Fest - Pours a copper color with a purplish hue. This guy was thick, sweet, and fruity. Not quite my cup of beer, but glad to have tried it.

Courtesy of weare138. Poured a clean ruby/purple color body with some lacing. Smelled like a berry scented garbage bag...really.The flavor wasn’t too far off from the nose with some blackberries and honey also present.
