On tap at Eugene City Brewery. What a mead! This was simply amazing. I loved the flavor, the way it unfolded so elegantly on my tongue. Very strong honey taste with the raspberry taste definatley present among a gorgeous palate. It sips nicely. The palate is splendid. This mead filled my mouth with joyous textures and a delightful beer-like body. Amazing. The aroma was nothing too great, still, it kept me drinking. The appearance is shocking. It looks beautiful. Try this one out, you might like it. I am definatley a fan.

Sep 20, 2008 Sample at City Steam: Aroma of raspberry, alcohol, and grains. Poured pink in color with no head. Clear. Not sparkling. Looks like white zinfandel. Flavor of raspberry, alcohol, and honey. Medium body. Viscous, oily texture. Soft carbonation. Sweet, raspberry and alcohol finish. Alcohol is warming.

Aug 24, 2008 A red mead. The aroma is sweet and dominated by black berries. The flavor is sweet with stron notes of black berries and only light notes of honey. The alcohol is felt along the edges of the tongue.

Aug 6, 2008 Bright ruby red color. Minimal head. Well carbonated and fairly light bodied. Sweet honey base with an well balanced raspberry flavor and tartness that doesn’t overpower the rest of the brew. Very smooth and easy to drink. Wouldn’t want to have more than a small glass, however.

Jun 30, 2008 $14 at Spec’s.... Rich ruby red colour ... berry + fruit with light alcohol in the nose .. very smooth but aftertaste is quite as slick .. is very drinkable ..an interesting spin on mead, but maybe mediocre.. enjoyable but not really worth the cost, but happy i tried it...

May 17, 2008 I recived a bottle of this and it is wicked good. The mead pours a reddish body with a pink fizzy head. the smell of rasberries. The taste is just like the smell and sweet. Hi carbonation but just plain good. Keep in mind the style when you try it!
