Sweet honey flavoured with a light acidic fruity flavoured on the back of the tongue. Smooth carbonation mouthfeel. Juice sweet and light flavoured finish. Mild honey lingering finish.

May 27, 2009 Draft at Tyler’s, Durham. Clear, pinkish red with almost no head. Visible large carbonation bubbles like you’d see in a soda. The carbonation makes the mouthfeel similar to ginger ale. I’ve had very few meads, and if this one’s pretty typical, I won’t be having a lot more anytime soon. Tasted like a mix between champagne and beer. My wife accurately said it felt like drinking a wine cooler. Too sweet to be refreshing, too light and tart to be a brew to savor. Not my thing.

Aug 24, 2008 A pinkish mead with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of honey and berries, and so is the flavor, though added a note of grain?!? The mouthfeel is sparkling.
