In my 45 plus year love affair with beer, this is the first mead I’ve had on tap, can’t say I’ve had that many meads in any form, but I really think I need to review my priorities.
Served in a “Crystal Wine Glass”, the color a blushing pink, the sweet aroma of berries dominates, the first taste, ambrosial, the body light to medium, the finish has a sparkling acidity, the aftertaste tart but not vinous, dry and quite a “hoot” to this old inhauster of malted and fermented grain matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

This boysenberry baby has some lightly tart sake undertones. The berry is not overly sweet.. nor is the honey for that matter.
Poured a glowing dark apricot colored body. The aroma and flavor bring entrancing notes of lemongrass, and strange wild berries. This nectar is dangerously drinkable.. I could easily down a few bottles of this stuff if it were not $11 for a ˝ liter!

Clear amber coloured with what I presume boysenberry aroma and flavour (first time I’ve tried this fruit and it tasted similar to raspberry to me). Crisp on the palate with a slightly warming finish. chandler0201 (341), Durham, North Carolina, USA

Honey aroma is strong and floral. It has some chardonney qualities also. Very prominent honey flavor. The boysenberry is barely detectable. Clean and sweet. Finishes fast. Elegant and less cloyingly sweet than others I’ve had. Quite tart for a mead. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark
