nearly 3 year old bottle, clear light golden color, tangy orange blossom honey fermented.... Nice mead, not much flavor...not as sweet or honey-noted as their vanilla / cinnamon mead. I really can’t find any juniper taste at all... finishes with a bit of banana or light fruit actually. sweet.

FREE bottle from Dewayne and Jay at Spec’s, Mason Road, Katy, TX. Thanks guys! I stopped in to just see what the store had that was new, and I walk out with a free bottle that retails for $12. Now THAT’S customer service! Pours a bit thicker than average gold, with an aroma of sour honey. Bits of sweet berry are in there as well. Flavor is orange and honey, with a hint of wood and sweet berry. Can’t detect much juniper. Thick mouthfeel. Overall, not bad. I just wish it was about 40 degrees cooler than the 85 it is right now at 9:30 pm.

Dark straw color with smaller legs. Sweet and acidic fruit aromas coated with honey along with a hint of gin and alcohol. Rather simple honey flavors bolstered by toasted almonds and, mild apples and candi. Finish has a a light spice along with a dash of refreshing/cleansing juniper. Interesting stuff.

mostly clear tiny amount of wheat colored cloudiness decent legs. Aroma of honey and light flower petals and some light berries. Very sweet. Palate is thick and well coated lightly creamy. Flavor is overly sweet lots of honey a hot alcohol comes through well and hints of juniper berry and even a touch of wood. Pretty good... but the alcohol is a bit raw.

Odeed’s beer tasting! :) This one smelled kind of like Honeysuckle, and you could taste the juniper. My first mead, don’t think i’ll be looking for any more meads... pretty bottle though!

No head to this ’beer’. Aroma is boxed white wine and sugar. taste is vodka and lindemans (not a good combo at all)
