Light carbonation. Pretty sweet, but most people’s standards, even for a mead. Light body - almost like a dessert wine. Flavor of honey (duh) plus apricots (perceptible).

On tap @ the Brew Kettle 9/22/06: Very clear light gold, very little fizz in the appearance, but evident in the mouth, sort of like a "red bull" level of carbonation! Very strong honey aroma, but fruit aroma is non existant. Faintly sweet smell, but flavor is very sweet mid palate into the finish and aftertaste. Flavor is mostly honey, with a touch of acidity up front. A bit too sweet for my taste to drink in quantity as it only really has honey flavor. Alcohol is not noticeable which is nice and lighter medium bodied. I’ve not had many meads, but it’s better than a few that I’ve had.

5 oz draught sample at the Brew Kettle in Strongsville, OH (August 2006). Very, very clear, faintly yellow, no fizziness or head on my sample by the time it got to me....sweet, sweet honey and faint fruit oh and did I mention really really sweet honey in the one-dimensional nose....light carbonation on the tongue, moderately sweet, touch syrupy, no alcohol presence, little if any fruit noticed, drinkable but quite boring. Carbonated mead?

Really smooth, sweet, almost cloying. Lots of honey, fruit and spices. ABV was nice and warming. It was good, but a little too sweet, I could just have maybe half a glass of this.

Thanks to my Dad for sharing this. Pale body that looks like sparkling wine, with very heavy yeast, with slight alcohol notes, dry oak, and peaches. Taste is very spritzy with honey, apricot and alcohol.

Draught at Tyler’s in Durham, NC. Clear light golden color with a paper thin white head that left a bit of lace on the glass. Sublte fruity aroma, mostly pear. Very sweet. Tastes like fruit juice made with apricot, pear, apples, and honey. Not bad.
