This tastes entirely of Honey! Some meads you can’t really taste it, but this one is my favorite!

Tap at Pap. Pulls a nice orange color. Smells and tastes more like peaches to me, as many apricot flavored items do. Slight orange as well in the flavor. Simple.

On tap at The Shepherd and Knucklehead. Pours a light golden in color with zero head. It is very light and fruity - the apricot adds a nice fruit character to the honey flavor. The mouthfeel of this is almost still. I could drink this mead all day.

Bottle at yeoman’s Road Pub in Tampa. Syrupy texture to look at it. Pale gold color. No head. Honey and apricot smell, no suprise. Drier than i thought it would be though plenty sweet. Very drinkable. Nice stuff.

On tap. I was surprised to see carbonation in this one. My first carbonated mead. Aroma was complex, sweet flowers and pumpkin pie spices. A little bit of that fearsome dirty diaper aroma that I get from more than a few meads, though. Flavor was very juicy, subtle and lovely sweetness, accented by light carbonation that really makes this drink glide across the palate. I think the bubbles really did this one well. Very enjoyable. Unfortunately I lost my tasting notes on it, so this is from memory.

Smells meadish (honey). Very thin in color with a little dry champagne taste. Didn’t notice the apricot at all, which is what the bartender at the Glenwood Springs brewery called this guest tap (apricot mead), but in a way that’s just fine. A mead I could certainly have again.

Has the aroma of an alcopop at first, but really I shouldn’t hold that against it. Smells good... lightly of honey and alcohol and citrus fruits, apricot at the end. Taste is distinctively mead- strong honey sweetness , plenty of apricot to back it up... not to experienced in the mead, but I figure that this is what they’re going for. It sure is good!!!

Draught @ Papago

The color a luminous gold with a marvelous sweet mountain honey and a slightly tart apricot aroma treats your senses. Sweet honey and the slightly tart apricot flavors really add much to the pleasure of this fine beverage, carbonation is mild to moderate, very dry and sweet aftertaste, another “Hoot” of a mead, damn I’m starting to really have a thing for these “meads”.
