Commercial Description:
Style: Traditional
Traditional meads celebrate pure honey. This mead has no fruit, herbs, or spices added.
Ingredients Include: Colorado Water, Orange Blossom Honey, Wildflower Honey, Montrachet Yeast, and The Love!
Process: In order to preserve the delicate honey flavor, we pasteurize rather than boil.
Swing Top: Our resealable bottle preserves the quality of the mead more effectively than recorking a bottle. Reuse or recycle.
Serving Temperature: We suggest serving slightly chilled. However, feel free to excperiment as different nuances are revealed at different temperatures. Unfiltered, may contain sediment.

Alcohol is noticable in the aroma but not at all in the flavor - dangerously smooth and easy to drink; like apple juice really. Light but enjoyable body. Flavor is kind of boring and innocuous but still this is pretty good, very drinkable.

Honey nose (of course,) with hints of pear. Nice yellow pour. Sweet but not too sweet, Flavor matches nose almost oerfectly. Meads aren’t my cup of tea, but I enjoyed this one.

My first ever mead. I thought it was ok, but give me beer any day please! Yellow pour with a very strong aroma of honey(shocker!) and wildflowers. Flavor isnt as sweet or rich as I would have expected. Honey flavor is there, some slight tartness.

A hazy light yellow mead. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of honey. The flavor is sweet spicy combined with notes of honey as well as lighter notes of citrus and a slight acidity.

750 ml bottle. Pours a still shimmering light yellow. Floral honey nose with a touch of citrus. Prominent honey profile with fruity floral notes. Nice balance of sweet and tart with a slight warming in the finish.

Pours still, uncarbonated with a light golden color. Nice aroma of pure honey, crisp apples, and pears. Smooth. Profoundly honey flavor is well-rendered. In spite of the strong honey, the palate is not sweet. Is off-dry. Also has apples, flowers, white grapes, gentle perfume. Really mellow yet potent. Vanilla, some spice in the back of the throat, almost leaving a peasant astringency without being dry. I like this a lot!

Bottle. My firstmead rating. Poured a pale golden color, wine like in texture, semi syrupy. Looks like a white wine. Fruity aroma, no detectable alcohol aroma. Very sweet, and somewhat vinuous, a pleasant honey flavor. Subtle fruit nots and a cough syrupy quality slightly detracts from overall flavor. I enjoyed this. Not much to base it on, but it was good.
