josarah (75), Hinesburg, Vermont, USA Jun 11, 2008 Bottle. Strong honey aroma, no head, rich golden color. A little sweet for my taste, but most meades are. Simple like true meade should be. Well done and enjoyable.
Rustyham (28), miami, Florida, USA Jan 4, 2009 Eh, I expected more from mead. This instead taste like a chardonnay with a little honey aftertaste. Not worth the price. I guess if you want good mead, you have to pay more for it. I would prefer Barenjager honey liquor. That’s a mouthful of honey and it’ll mess you up. NomDeBeer (179), Maryland, USA Nov 30, 2008 Alcohol is noticable in the aroma but not at all in the flavor - dangerously smooth and easy to drink; like apple juice really. Light but enjoyable body. Flavor is kind of boring and innocuous but still this is pretty good, very drinkable.
CoachJT (35), Columbia, South Carolina, USA Oct 25, 2008 Honey nose (of course,) with hints of pear. Nice yellow pour. Sweet but not too sweet, Flavor matches nose almost oerfectly. Meads aren’t my cup of tea, but I enjoyed this one. ucusty (1309), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Sep 25, 2008 Hazy yellow pour. With strong honey aroma and flavor. Light spicy and slightly acidic. daknole (1294), Plantation, Florida, USA Sep 20, 2008 My first ever mead. I thought it was ok, but give me beer any day please! Yellow pour with a very strong aroma of honey(shocker!) and wildflowers. Flavor isnt as sweet or rich as I would have expected. Honey flavor is there, some slight tartness.
