Ungstrup (11933), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 27, 2002 An amber beer with very little head and almost no aroma. The flavor is a little flat, soft - I believe it contains munchner malt. An OK beer. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Dark golden with a fine, insisting head. Malty, fruity nose, with a delicate, slightly caramelish feel to the flavours. Good solid, hoppy finish. Nice one. But calling this ale a "Pils" is a freakin’ joke - but brewer John insists. "Beer enthusiasts are not to decide the names for my beers", he once told me...Well, fair enough then. 260801 omhper (11033), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 13, 2002 Deep amber. Fruity aroma with hints of bubblegum and toffee. Some slight acidity. Light body and low bitterness. Definitely not a pilsener. yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 10, 2007 33 cL bottle. Pours cola brown with a little brown head. Heavy malty nose, slight roasted, rye and refsvindinge yeast note. Slight sweet but also minor citric/sour note with bitterness in the finish. Clear rye corn flavoured. watery finish. Boring. I guess I got one of the not so good bottle. MiP (6742), Flensburg, Germany Aug 3, 2005 Bottle. Farty aroma, hint of smoke. Brown colour, hint of red. The head is small but quite stable. Watery mouthfeel and flavour. Flavour is very mild, not much malt and very little hops.
