Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Hazy amber/nutbrown colour, not much head. Aroma is wooden, quite sweet malty as well as slightly alcoholic. Plum and raisins show up as well. Flavour is raisins, plum, alcohol along with some wood, leather and yeast. Very well balanced and pleasant to drink.

Bottled (brewed 10/2008). Murky amber-copper color, mostly vanishing white head. Toffee, wine, cookies in the nose. Quite watery palate. Light caramel, toffee, light bread, hints of Madeira-red wine kind of dry notes. Not very interesting flavor.
