Pours deep ruby red with some brown mixed in. Small, rather fizzy, creamy, yellowish head. Sweet nutty aroma, some roasted caramel, sweetness, a touch of black currants. Highish carbonation, fine if rather light mouthfeel. Flavour is mildly sweet, some hazel nuts, grassy hops, sweet caramel, some sugary notes, lightly roasted. Slight citric bitter finish. Quite clean and rather good, especially from Refsvindinge.

Apr 6, 2009 Dark amber with a small white head. Aroma has malt, spices and fruit. Caramel flavour with spices, mostly coriander. Middle of the road beer, but with a pleasant level of spice at least.

Brown with a off-white ehad. Aroma moderate malty (caramel, roasted, brown sugar) and hoppy. Flavor moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium body.

Dec 31, 2008 Botella. Clear red brown colour, short off/white head. Spiced and deep malty bit sweet aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour has a good soft roasty maltiness, with caramel, some chocolate, spices, bitter hops and some dark fruits. Bitter and toasty malty finish with spices and a pleasant frutiness.

Dec 25, 2008 Bottle. Dark brown body with a creamy long lasting tan head. Very malty aroma with some spices and bread. Bit roasty flavour with some spicy notes and lots of malt. Alcohol well hidden. One of the best from Refsvindinge so far.
