Bottled. Sampled 3 years old. A deep red beer with a medium tan head. The aroma is very sweet and quite complex with notes of grain, berries, alcohol, wood, and some spices. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt, berries, grain, brown sugar, and licorice, leading to a dry slightly bitter finish with notes of wood. The body is sirupy.

Beige, lasting head. Amber ale. Very rich malty sweet aroma. More malty sweetness in the flavour. Notes of roasted malt. Sherry too? Sugarsticky palate. Hides the ABV very well. Soft carbonation. Overall, special but very nice, if you like sweet ale... ;.)

Clear dark amber with large deep beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and hoppy notes. Sweet flavour with overripe fruits, caramel, toasted malt and hints of hops. Warming alcohol towards the end. Not bad at all.

Fresh dark grain nose, clear copper color, light tight head. Very malty with zero bitter. Medium body. Didn’t get that much of the 8.4% alchohol. Thanks Jacob and Dixen!
