Bottle at the Köbenhavnske Öldager 2007. Black colour, no head. Aroma of coffee,dark chocolate,malty. Flavor is watery, but it has also a touch of malts,bitter/sweet caracter, and a bit of the aroma elemnts.Thin body,short sweet finish.

Bottle at home. Dark brown with a brown head, immediately gone. Aroma heavy malty (brown sugar, fruity). Flavor heavy sweet, light smoky? Light/medium body, normal carbonated. A sweetie, not a real beer.

Brown/amber with a small offwhite head. Cane sugar, caramel, slight smoke and spiced. My first attempt with hvidtøl, and it wasn’t a pleasent one. Maybe like Gueze.......Might need to try some times more before I like them.

(on bottle)Very greenish black, small, lasting head. Has a vague aroma of molasses, compared to the destintive dry, smoked taste. For such a sweet beerst7ylle, it took me a few sips to get the hang of what was going on, but I have chosen to belive that this actually is more correct in it´s flatness and smokieness, than the more sweet examples og hvidtøl.

Bottled. Pours brownish coloured with a small head. Sweet and malty with notes of caramel and candied sugar. Just sweet - no balance.

Bottle. Brown small head. Black body. Swee aroma. Sweet caramel sugar flavor. Too sweet and no character.

Bottle. Probably the best hvidtøl I ever taste. not as sweet as one should expect. Slightly bitter finish.

Beautiful dark red color with okay head. Well Refsvindinges Hvidtøl 2006 is a clear hit! Not too sweet and with a good caramel (tasted like chocolate) flavor with a burnt hint.
