| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Aug 11, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) My first attempt with this beer ended disastrous. It exploded in my beer closet while I was away holidaying, soaking the wall of my downstairs neighbour. Well, he was Australian and took no offence when I explained that the brown, sticky fluid was just beer. Wall had to be painted though
Dark brown with a tan head and a heavy carbonation. Weird, acidic off-flavours making this one taste a bit like a mushroom-stew boiled in gueuze. It’s really hit or miss with Refsvindinge, their batches differ so much in quality but they seem to bottle just about everything. 051200 Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 6, 2005 Bottled: Dark red/brown coloured. Almost no head. Sweet and sugary. Is light roasty and sweet. A bit cloying in the end as almost every of these "Hvidtøl". But one of the better ones.
