Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Huge creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Dark mahogany colour. Aroma of grain, chocolate, caramel, nutty, fruit. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Light sweet and bitter flavour. Light roasted and bitter finish.

Dec 28, 2008 Az 1753-ban alapított Pivovar Velké Březno 3,8% alkoholtartalmú barna söre kiváló példa arra, hogy megcáfoljuk azokat, akik úgy gondolják, hogy a barna sörök általában erősebbek, testesebbek, mint világos társaik. Csehországban ez – a nekünk oly kedves kivételektől eltekintve – pont fordítva van. És ezek a laza barnák egyáltalán nem is „édeskések”, mint azt a hiedelem tartja. Általában határozott keserűséget mutatnak – kivéve talán ez a Březnák, mert ez inkább olyan semmilyen. Van benne ugyan némi keserűség, de azért ennél többet várnék el.

Dec 7, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Pours a dark brown, clear filtered brew with a firm off-white head. Easy to drink but in the finish quite dry and watery. I am not amused.

Oct 23, 2008 Bottled@Kahdet Kasvot, Tampere. Deep ruby colour, brown head. Aroma is hops, caramel and some mild yeastyness. Flavour is roasted malts, some ashes and mildly wooden notes.

Oct 19, 2008 Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Toom Getränke in Kaiserslautern. Pours a dark brown. Sweet toasted malt aroma. Flavors of caramel and burnt malts.

Dark brown color, small off-white head. Sweet saccharine aroma. Carbonated. Caramelly, sweetish, a bit toasted finish. Nice, but not very interesting.
