Pernille (518), Copenhagen, Denmark Jun 23, 2005 Bottle. This is an old favorite. It’s the stout that made me love stouts. (Well, this and Young’s Double Chocolate!) It’s creamy, harmonious and with a well rounded bitterness. The aftertaste just lingers forever. Yummy.. Eyedrinkale (3163), Beer Town, New York, USA May 16, 2005 33 cl bottle. Light black color with nice sized brown head. Aromas are rich chocolates and coffee. Taste is sweet indeed with just a little bitterness. A real nice session stout. Creamy body and smooth finish. oh6gdx (6601), Vaasa, Finland Apr 21, 2008 Bottled. Close to opaque black colour, mediumsized brown creamy longlasting head. Roasted malts, some coffee, vanilla and some hints of licorice. Flavour is old coffee, roasted malts, some mild chocolate and vanilla too. A rather pleasant stout. Beer2000 (1403), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 4, 2008 330ml bottle. Dark red/brown body with a fine brown head. Aromatic burnt with some coffee and chocolate. Flavor is light roasted malt, sweet, fruity, coffee and some chocolate. Well-composed and pleasant. TaxiDriver (622), Stadland, Germany Sep 14, 2008 Bottle. The nice smell of chocolate and roasted malt, coffee with cream, light sweet and sweat - overall a very nice smell! A medium sized creamy light brown head and a black body. Moderate bitter taste for a sweet stout with a average duration. The body is medium, dry and creamy with a soft carbonation. A very nice one!
