Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 26, 2008 (Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of BelJohansen. Clear deep golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Fresh citrusy hops in the nose. Medium-bodied, lightly sweet caramel and again fresh, hoppy citrus notes. Lightly bitter finish. A neat APA, and easily the best Refsvindinge beer for quite some time. 160408 yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 17, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a fully diminished white head. Aroma is hoppy and with a light citric note. Flavour is light bitter and dry malty with a light citric note. Goes into a medium dry finish with a light malty and quite hoppy. Apparently with added citrus - I guess the hops shortage makes people come up with alternative ideas to mimick american hops in their beers. joergen (6951), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 17, 2008 Bottle.
