saxo (2326), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Jun 4, 2008 Bottle. Medium head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Nicely balanced. trapez (226), Hilleroed, Denmark Apr 7, 2008 Bottle 33 cl.
Golden colour with small light brown head. Nice malty aroma - like a brown bread, but taste is weak although malty and watery. jspruit (87), Dublin, Ireland Mar 23, 2008 Purchased this right at Refsvindinge Bryggeri warehouse and drank 33cl bottle in Denmark while on Easter break.
Pours and orangeish copper color with a 1 finger bubbly head that quickly disappears.
Smells a bit smokey and bready and almost like karse to me-not my favorite aromas.
Karse smell isnt necessarily present in the taste so that is nice. Not much body but a light balance of malt and hops with some slight fruitiness.
Little carbonation with a dry finish, not too exciting but a bit more adnvertorous than some other more plain Danish paske bryg.
I think that I’ll try some other Easter beers before coming back to this one. Skinnyviking (2725), Copenhagen, Denmark Mar 19, 2008 Draught. Quickly disappearing white head. Clear light orange body. Weak aroma of barley malt and a shot of hops. Very short hops flavor. Rather watery. Low carbonation and a short aftertaste. ChristianScheffel (2263), Odense, Denmark Mar 16, 2008 hazy light amber ith a creamy and lasting off-white head. Weak malty, bready aroma. Dry malty flavour, rather boring ith a touch of cardboard. Boring, but an easy drinker that won’t turn off anyone.
