Ungstrup (11933), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 14, 2003 A light amber beer with no head. The aroma is great with notes of orange, malt, and brewmash. The flavor is disappointing compared with the aroma - it is prickling sweet with notes brewmash and malt. It is both sweet and bitter which makes a great balance. And the bitterness lingers. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 13, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden without much head. Pretty low in carbonation also which is typically Refsvindinge. Also typical Refsvindinge house character with the lightly sourish and fruity notes. Very different easter brew, but very nice. 160402 omhper (11033), Stockholm, Sweden May 12, 2003 Sampled draught at the Danish Beer Festival.
Reddish golden. Sweet malt aroma. Fruit, malt, salt and sweat is dominating this sweet lager. Grassy , salty finish. I get annoyed every time I see a beer like this listed as a pilsner, but as there are so many I'm starting to give up on it... yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark Feb 16, 2007 33 cL bottle.
