Ungstrup (11933), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 12, 2003 [Draft] An unclear orange beer with a beutiful head. It has a fruity orange aroma (almost like a witbier). The flavor is flat almost wheaty. It is not very sweet but somewhat sour instead of bitter (brewing cereal?) An average beer. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 9, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) For once a Pilsener that is different from the majority. Fully golden with a fine head. The beer has this indefinable Refsvindinge house character - whatever that is. Some nutty notes, and then not really. Soft mouthfeel, slightly malty sweetness balanced with some good hops. A fine pilsener. 180200 yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 15, 2007 CBF07 sample from 33 cL bottle. Pours clear golden. Malty aroma, slight classical Refsvindinge yeast barnyard note. Flavour is soft malty, no real bitterness although some hops can be tasted. joergen (6951), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 21, 2007 Bottle.
Clear yellow coloured with a white head.
Sweet malty aroma of caramel, fruits and the cresslike refsvindinge yeast.
Flavour of malts, grain, hops and fruits. fiulijn (6180), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Aug 25, 2003 Gold color, poor head. Some malt aroma, cardboard, light caramel. Quite strange, similar to some hemp, myrtle or other herb pilsners, with a decent malt and hop final. Rather sweet.
