Nov 16, 2009 It’s a black beer with a small, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and licorice. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, licorice, very light smoke and quite a lot of ashes, too much for my liking. The finish is dry and bitter and the flavor hides the ABV well.

Nov 9, 2009 Draught at Høkerens (Cph) birthday part, Saturday 7th Nov. Thanks Rasmus! Black colour medium brownish head, ok lacing. Roasty sweet bit chocolate aroma. Ok mouthfeel. The flavour has a soft roasty maltiness with caramel, some chocolate and smoke.

Nov 9, 2009 Bottle. Pours black with a nice cappuccino coloured head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, hops and ash. Licorice, coffee, ashy notes and bitter hops in the taste.

Oct 27, 2009 Draught at Jydske Øldage 2009. Frothy good lightbrown mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty roasted moderate hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter flavor. very roasted and burnt. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.
