Ungstrup (11933), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 15, 2008 Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A deep red beer with a collapsing thin pink head. The aroma is sweet wtih strong notes of black currant, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry finish. If you like black currant as I, then this is nice - reminded me of picking black currant as a child. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 15, 2008 (On tap) Clear reddish with a small, pink head. Distinct butter aroma but not very much fruit at all. Thin and watery with notes of metal and again the fruit is pretty much absent. Sour finish without any hops. Something must’ve gone terribly wrong here. 130908 yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 27, 2008 Århus2008. 33 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden red with a lacing white head. Dry berry aroma. Flavour is dry and of acidic black berry. Goes into a solid acidic berry fruity note towards the finish. Acidic and dry. Finish is even so acidic and berry fruity. More like black berry juice you got as a child than a beer. MiP (6742), Flensburg, Germany Jun 10, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Berry aroma. Clear red colour. Good blackcurrant flavour, quite dry and nice. Almost sour. A lot better than expected. fonefan (6153), Ulfborg, Denmark Jul 6, 2008 Bottle 33cl.
Clear medium red color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to pink red head.
