yespr (8544), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 30, 2007 CBF07 sample from tap. Pours almost clear. Aroma is hoppy and dry. Flavour is malty, and finish has a distinct odour that I cannot make out. This is a hvidt oel with more malt, lagered and with added rootbeet. faroeviking (4726), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands May 21, 2007 Draught. Golden colour. Sweet aroma with some malt and hops. The flavour is thin with some maltiness and fruitiness. Slight hoppish finish. Grovlam (3421), Copenhagen, Denmark May 19, 2007 Draught @ Copenhagen Øl Festival. Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Fair lacing. Clear flat pale yellow colour. We were told that this was a former Malt Beer with added ingredients being beetroot. As beetroot would have added to the colour of this beer, I doubt that the beetroot has been added. Further more I can’t see the connection to a Malt beer at all. Hay, butter, grain, caramel and light hoppy notes as well. Light bodied with an average carbonation. Light dry texture. Balanced between the sweet and bitter flavour. Somewhat dry and sweet finish. Ungstrup (11933), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 26, 2007 Draft. A hazy light golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of hops, and so is the flavor, though I also pick up a slight note of honey, and the body is thin.
