Sweet malty and crisp hoppy. Bitter and dry finish. Decent. MiP (6742), Flensburg, Germany Dec 18, 2008 Bottle, 5.5%. Weak flowery hop aroma. Clear golden colour, small white head. The flavour is nicely malty. Sweet and flowery hop flavour, quite nice. Clean finish, slightly rough bitterness. kappldav123 (1229), Markkleeberg, Germany Jan 15, 2008 The bottle looks a little bit boring, the beer in the glass is okay. The aroma is strange, like cough syrup. The flavor is different. Not really fruity, but spicy, the finish a little bit dry. Interesting beer! pivnizub (4181), Porúří, Germany Dec 6, 2006 Bottle: Delicate sweet pale malty, a bit bready, too, with a distinctive aromatic hoppiness, small white layer, sticking to the glass,; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, solid malty base, light to medium bodied; distinctive bready/malty and lingering aromatic hoppy finish: A fine and pleasant example of a "german" Bohemian Pils.................... MoritzF (4046), Ruhrpott, Germany Oct 24, 2006 (bottle, a Mitbringsel from pivnizub) Clear, pale golden with a foamy white medium head. Sweet malty, slightly buttery aroma with herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, medium to light body, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Light Bohemian-like malt character with herbal notes; dry and bitter, quite aromatic herbal hoppy finish. A quaffable Pils from Karl-Marx-Stadt in the Bohemian style.
