Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white flufyf head. Aroma is malty and has some hints of alcohol and butter. Flavour is malty, slighty alcoholic and quite full. Aftertaste has the same along with some grass in it.

0.5 l bottle. Golden color with small head. Malty and toffeish aroma with hint of butter. Malty, toffeish and vinous flavor with some fruity bitterness and hint of butter. Fairly easy and drinkable bock.

(bottle) Clear, golden to light amber colour with a short frothy white layer. Sweet malty nose with cereal-like elements, honey and a touch of caramel. Sweetish flavour, medium body, smooth carbonation. Malty with faint notes of caramel; unspectacular sweetbitter finish. Unimpressive Bock.

Bottled. Aroma of apple, light herbal and hints of caramel. Golden color, small white head, few lace. Light sweet, light herbal, honey and light caramel. Soft palate. Normally I’m not a fan of Heller Bock but this one is an exception.

Bottle (Landbierdealer, Hof): Deep golden coloured, small foamy layer; faint caramelly nose with a tinge of bitterness; sweet-bitter flavour, quite full bodied; short bitter-sweet finish. well hidden alcohol, all in all not bad, but a bit bland...........
