App.: Clear, moderately deep amber with a fairly good rocky off-white froth.
Aroma: Some yeast, quite a bit of biscuit and toast, sweet, some fruitiness – mainly raisins with some apple juice and other fruits, some light esters, a little brightness.
Palate: Medium body, quite full but mostly soft effervescence.
Flav.: Lightly spicy, some brown sugar and very slight molasses, more fruity than the nose, some raisins and apples, a touch of wood and a little vinous; sweet with sufficient bitterness to balance and a pleasant, malty finish.
Pretty good.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 30, 2009 Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of semi-sweet Belgian malt with some lightly spicy yeast. Taste is also dominated by some semi-sweet Belgian caramel malt with some spicy yeast and light dry hoppy finish. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Overall I would say that this is a slightly above average Belgian ale - easily drinkable. sayravai (3786), Helsinki, Finland
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2009 (Bottled) Almost clear amber with a medium, firm and lasting, lacy head. Caramely-nougat-malty aroma with something very familiar from Belgian Tafelbiers. Flavor is lightly fruity and caramely-nougat-malty. More mushy-mushy and smooth with yeast, and better when warmed up. Medium, slightly thin body with foamy carbonation. Somewhat boring, but not a drain pour. OleR (2115), Oslo, Norway
