Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with great retention and good lacing. Aroma of spicy yeast and medium sweet Belgian malt with unrefined grain ester. Taste is a weird mix between some sweet malt and unrefined stale grain notes with a spicy and as well bready yeast completing the mix. Body is quite full with good carbonation and no signs of alcohol. Not bad though mix of flavor is somewhat strange and not completely balanced.

33cl bottle cloudy brown, small fluffy light brown head. sweet caramel, tofee, faint dark fruits, alcohol in the aroma, perhaps also faint orange peel. flavor is sweet, hard caramel, only very faint dark fruits. flavor is actually very good, a clean caramelly profile, without being too sweet or cloying. some bitterness to balance, but not taking my attention away from the nice home-made-hard-caramel sort of flavor. the faind dark fruity raisiny flavor rounds up the beer nicely.

Bottle. Hazy brown with a small off-white head. Aromas are toffee and sticky caramelised pear. Soft spices and yeast with some treacle. Flavours are sweet, spicy and peppery on the tongue. Sticky toffee with chocolate malts. Herbal on the finish with warming alcohol.

33 cl bottle from Bieropholie, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass. BB 22/12/10.

App.: Clear copper with a fair tan head. Aroma: Lots of bright fruits, nice brown sugar and some light molasses, dark dried fruits, a little vinous, a little boozy, some light orange peel. Palate: Medium+ body, fairly soft effervescence. Flav.: Less than the nose, some dark dried fruits, more booze, a touch of wood and orange peel, some brown sugar/molasses; somewhat sweet with enough balancing bitterness and a light malty/boozy finish.

Fair.

Bottle. Dark brown beer with a strong head. The aroma is deeply spiced, and the flavour is spiced, yeasty and gently bitter. Overall a nice beer.

330ml bottle, amber color, with a pillowy beige head, yeasty, spicy, fruity nose of caramelized apples, dried sultana raisins and figs, with a faint cinnamon, nutmeg accent, and some toasted, biscuity, caramel, grainy, bready malt, cookie dough notes, with a mild brown sugar aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a yeasty, fruity, toasty, biscuity, caramelized malt, cookie dough character, with some toffee, dried sultana raisin, date, fig and brown sugar flavors, with a light flowery hop leafiness, leading towards a warming, sweet malty, fruity, raisiny, caramelized, hop bittering finish.

Danger! This one might knock you out. What a flavor. Mostly wheatbread (brown bread) with a dry finish. Has a bitter and sourfruit flavor. Nice. (after 30 mins). Taste is getting flatter and not special anymore.
