not cold enough and something about a big bottle isn’t right. Still its as drinkable as any with just a pop of hop. Nice carb and a thin wet head.

This is my first kolsch, and if this is indicative of the style it really looks like I’m not going to be into it. Poured an almost transparent gold color (almost like a malt liquor), with a slightly grainy aroma and thick, rocky head. Taste was very bland, slightly sweet, mostly tasted like a macro...would’nt pick up again.

Bottled. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Flavor is malty and smooth and goes down very easy. Bread malts and a solid mouth feel.

12 oz. bottle into pint glass. Gold pour with good white head - bit eerily similar to a Budweiser, coors, etc. Just enough hops on the aroma to not smell like a pale lager. Flavor is similar to a macro pale lager - corn, a very trace amount of hops, and water. Medium to light body with active carbonation - light brew. Overall: boring, but pretty refreshing and sessionable.

Draught @ Cicero’s in St. Louis. Pour is light with a bit of a white head and aromas of wheat and light fruit with some herbs. Flavors are a sweeter mix than I remember from a kolsch... apples and lemons with a touch of yeasty grain. Nice.

From a .5L mini keg. Pour slightly hazy golden with a big white head. The aroma is mostly fresh wheat with a bit of herbal hops. Apple flavors. Very crisp, dry, and refreshing.
