From a .5L mini keg. Pour slightly hazy golden with a big white head. The aroma is mostly fresh wheat with a bit of herbal hops. Apple flavors. Very crisp, dry, and refreshing.

Pale golden color with thin white head and faint malt/bready aroma. Slight candy sweetness and mild hop finish. On tap at The Shep’.

Bottle. Average-size, white head that slowly diminishes. The body is clear light yellow. The nose is malty with toasted grain and moderately hoppy with grass and herbs. The flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. The finish is lightly bitter with some sweetness lingering. Light to medium body and watery texture. Plenty of carbonation. A nice enough drinker though not as crisp and clean as one would expect of this style.

500ml bottle, poured aggressively to rouse a decent head that receded fairly quickly down to a thin surface with some spots sticking to the glass. Has a nice clean and sweet aroma, some very mild esters that smell bubblegummy, noble floral hops are there. Tastes like a nice pils, even though it is an ale, very clean malt with a mild hop bitterness, tails off nice and dry. A very drinkable beer, a keg would be nice, could replace bottled water on a daily basis for me.

My first Kölsch, I would have thought it was a pils had I not known any better. Average malt flavors and light fruity taste. Has a decent hoppy dryness in the finish.

Pale yellow with a medium quickly diminishing head. Aroma is somewhat skunky and vegetal with yeast, straw and corn. Taste of malt, mild lemon, dish soap with a vegetal aftertaste. I like this style less and less with each version I try…

50cl bottle. Pours clear & pale yellow with a white head. A lot of straw & grass. Quite fresh. Medium to light body. Clean & floral. Very drinkable!
