Pours an unimpressive light golden yellow with a razor thin head, vanishing quickly. This bottle might have been a tad old, as the thin dust coating and slightly skunky nose indicated... but isn’t that par for the course on imported session style beers? Lightly fruity. Not sweet or hoppy. Suggestive of Bud, to be quite frank, but lighter, with no corn. A bit more fruit too and some toasty malt. Perhaps a Bud Light with some je ne sais quoi. Light, low carbonation. Not quite watery. A bit creamy. A bit dull. Slightly skunky as it first smelled upon opening the bottle. A bit creamy. Slightly fruity. Toastier than I’d like, but that at least gives this some flavor. Reminiscent of Bud. I’m not a huge fan to be honest.

Bottle. A golden beer with a fast dissaperinf white head. Malty, light apple and hop aroma, light sweet malty and light hoppy taste. Medium body with a light bitter dry finish.

From a 500mL Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold color with a finger of fizzy white foam. A subtle crackery malt character lies beneath some herbal hops and clean apple esters. Light bodied, crisply carbonated mouthfeel with a refreshing finish. Clean and crisp, with subtle apple and pear fruit esters and thin crackery malt. Finishes dry, with a refreshing final smack of floral hops. Very respectable example of the style.

Honey and hay aroma, slightly shitty. Clear yellow, thick snow white head, some lacing. Grainy copper taste with some light citrus and cherry undertones. Tinny hop finish. Only marginally better than US macros, and not really a good Kolsch. This rating is pretty generous.

Pours clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma is light and a hint of flowers. Taste is clean, crisp without anything overpowering. Not very strong alcohol wise. A nice hot day beer that goes down very easy.

Doughy aroma. Metallic Kolsch flavor. Nothing great, nothing horrible. Just run of the mill average Kolsch in my opinion.

on tap @Old Bay-pours a disappearing white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, some husky, secondary/faint (saaz) grassy hops. OK carbonation.

5/27/05. 330ml bottle. Golden with white head. Flowery aroma. Tasty flowery with some bitterness. Much better than I thought.
