5L keg at our Septoberfest party. Pours a clear pale yellow color with noticeable bubbles and a medium white head that dissipates steadily. Small patches of lacing. The aroma is grassy hops with mild malt. Light, clean body with hops, straw and sweet malt flavors. The finish is moderately hoppy with a sweet malty aftertaste. Decent all around, although I am not sure it justifies the higher price tag given other domestic Kölsch choices are just as good.

Appearance: Pours a crystal clear yellow body with a medium-sized, sudsy head. Smell: Light aroma of pale malt with a hint of citrus and straw. Taste: Sweet pale malt flavor with some straw, some citrusy lemon. Slight spicy hop bitterness. Finishes seomwhat sweet and clean. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: When the mood is right, like a gross, muggy day in Georgia, this beer is a life saver.

the beer is light and sparsely carbonated. there are many of the flavors and experiences as have been described in the 400+ ratings before mine. what i think is important is that there is too much going on to make it something to set itself apart. or to even describe it as something other than a compelation of tastes and palate experiences. with this in mind it is a decent beer with a niche. it has a moderately lasting off tasting sweetish finish.

Bottle. [Trade with DerDoppelbock] Large thick and bubbly white head that mostly lasted. Clear and flat looking body with a golden color. Fair display of lacework. Aroma of grain, toffee – caramel, hay, light grassy notes. Medium bodied with a light dry texture and an average carbonation. Balanced sweet malty and bitter hoppy flavor. Light dry and bitter that turns sweet at the end. Thanks Sebastian.

Aroma of corn and yeast. Very macro like smell. Decent head that quickly dissipates. Golden with lots of bubbles. Slightly watery taste. Not too much flavor, some sweet corn. Decent hoppiness in the first taste. Watery finish. Highly bubbly. Not terrible, not a style I like i guess.

Walked into my local beer store and it buy a beer get a glass So a 500 ml bottle poured into a proper glass poured a pale golden yellow with a thin white head Strong yeasty banana aroma fills your nose Mouthfeel is full and creamy just the right amount of carbonation hit your tongue. Is this what a Miller lite suppose to taste like? that’s what it reminds me of Well It’s the first Kölsch that I tried I think it would be a good beer to turn someone on to the thrills of imported beer that drank Miller

Bottle bought at the TRC in Launceston Tasmania. Clear golden yellow with a modest soapy white head. Dry grass and floral aroma. Clean pale malt palate with pears, apples and a faintly floral quality. Crisp finish. Fantastic!
