| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 6, 2007 Bottle... Clear yellow ale with a mid-sized, wispy, white head. Good retention. Perfumey nose with light notes of toffee, spent pale malt mash and butter. Well-balanced flavor with a crisp hop kick and flashes of crushed grain and English toffee. Medium-bodied and very lightly creamy with tingly carbonation. Crisp, clean, dry finish. One of the only Kölsches I remember drinking that’s brewed "dead-on" to style. Nice! | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 26, 2007 Draught. Gold colored with a light fruity apple and floral aroma. Light, mildly sweet straw/cereal flavors with underlying crisp fruit notes and grassy hop finish. Just a Kolsch in the long run, but refreshing and quaffable on a warm night, especially out of its narrow shell-casing glass. radagast83 (1317), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | May 25, 2007 Yeah, this is about as solid a kolsch as you could hope for. As the days get hot, a nice crisp fizzer like this is just the ticket. Warm tasting with just the right trace of crispness, like that nice straw taste rendered buttery somehow. This style isn’t something I think to have very often, but when in the mood this one will do just fine.
