Bottle (served in narrow kolsch glass)So definitely not one of the most complex beers I’ve had. But thats what kolsch is all about. Its nice, crisp, smooth and light (and I dont mean light in a bad way...) but has just the perfect amount of refreshingness, which makes it unbeatable during the summer. Whenever I go on camping trips, this is the beer I bring along.

Bottle at the source, Cologne. Clear straw yellow, fluffy stark white head with mild lacing. Aroma is mild, subdued: noble hops sprout up in grass and a bit of pungent earthiness, with a tinge of sweet pale malts edging through as well. Taste is very clean but a bit insipid, with a nice rounded sweetness playing off (again) an earthy, grassy hop presence. The finish was off for me with this one, and the after was slight and very slightly bitter. Not bad - not the best and not the worst of the kolsches in Cologne.

Agree with previous reviews... Golden color and clear lacing. Light head that is quick to clear. Mild hop aroma, which is fine for the Kolsch style. Crisp and clean, but the finish was somewhat lacking. A decent Kolsch, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to find this one again.

Perfectly clear golden color with minimal head and lacing - fresh hop aroma with light touches of grain - very crisp, clean, light and refreshing, but not watery at all - slight grassy, herbal qualities, with a tiny bit of hops - very subtle sweetness and a surprising vinous quality that works for some reason - totally clean finish - quite nice, great for warmer weather...liked it alot

Light aroma of yeast and some nutty scents. Completely clean golden color. This beer has a crisp flavor with a german hop presence and a very light caramel malt afteraste and some earthy flavors. Very quaffable

Bottle 0,50 ltr: Golden Kölsch thats some grassy notes and some carbonation.

Clear golden color, small white head. Strong aroma of iron, underlying fruity notes. Fizzy, slightly harsh malty flavor. Hard metallic and watery mouthfeel. Apple-fruity notes in the aftertaste. Average example of Kölsch-style, style which is clearly overrated in RB.

Bottled: Light crisp golden pour with a lot of clarity and a thin white head. The aroma has some apple-like fruit notes and some sweet crystal malt. It has a creamy & fluffy texture. There is a light vanilla like sweetness, tons of pale malt flavors, some wood & a subtle apple fruityness. Finish is very crisp, and has a mild German hop bite. A solid example of the style. A traditionally enjoyable and sessionable brew.
