Local drinked beer from the Godesberg Aue. More hoppy than an average german helles bier. Good for that. BakerStMuse (19), USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2006 12oz bottle. Aroma: Light grainy malt, apple, and a slight winey sourness. Appearance: Light golden in color and brilliantly clear. White head was full and foamy with nice retention. No lacing. Flavor: Very similar to the aroma. Grainy malt, apple, light yeastiness with a touch of sulfur, and a light sourness. Very light hop bitterness. Medium dry finish. Palate: Light bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: A standard for the style. Easy to drink and smooth. Mirage52 (127), New Market, Maryland, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 2, 2006 From the bottle at Brewer’s Art in Baltimore, MD. Poured a golden copper color standard of Kolsch beers. The head was thick and poofy, but dwindled down to a thin coating on the top. The taste was crisp and clean, smooth, with a slight bitter finish. A very good example of a Kolsch, from the land that invented the style. Andrew196 (1091), Katy, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2006 I am not the most well versed in the style, but I feel like this is how it should be. What is it about this style that makes everyone think of a hot Summer’s day? I don’t get it. I got lots of vegetable throughout this beast.....celery, mild earthiness and some berries. It tied in well to a refreshing hop finish. Not bad folks. XCKC (13), Tigard, Oregon, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 24, 2006 This brew I picked up a bottle to taste. Its nothing complex, which on a hot summer day is good as is any Kolsch.
This one had some light carbonation, not much head and as it sits, even less. Though, head not a character id be lookng for in this brew.
The taste is actually quiet interesting and subtle. I get a smooth light comforting wheaty/rye with a slight butter taste after its down the hatch. With the wheat Im finding a boiled peanut flavor which is really interesting here and would love to share with others just to see if they pick it up.
All in all a great beer to share with others, very easy and very enjoyable. The taste here is what would have me try it again with others of course.
Enjoy! The taste and finding flavors here is what this beer is about! GoBlue (102), Falls Church, Virginia, USA

Malty and slightly fruity aroma, just a hint of spicyness. Clean and malty flavor that finishes dry. A very nice clean example spector (906), Lancaster, Ohio, USA
