Jun 18, 2006 11.2 ounce purchased at the Brick Store Pub. It had a very malty aroma, but the taste was balanced out well with some crisp citrus hops. It was a very drinkable and refreshing beer.

Jun 14, 2006 Bottle. Nose and flavor has a bit of a witbier resemblance. Some decent semi-sour wheat and grain scents, crisp and light flavor, full of wheat and mild spices... strikingly different from the more traditional kolsch in town.

Jun 13, 2006 The aroma is sweet and malty with some grassy hops but not much. The appearance is pale gold with a medium head. The flavor is malty and light with some citrus and corn. The palate is thin. Overall its easy to drink but nothing spectacular.

Jun 12, 2006 Updated: Jun 7, 2007Pours bright pale golden yellow w/ a full spritzy froth. Hangtime is short lived and residual lacing is minimal. Aroma is slightly herbacious w/ lemon rind fruit and malt. Light nectar w/ ample residual effers. The texture is slightly milky. Nice. Flavors are delicate w/ perfumy malt and round mellow fruit. Crisp and clean with a nice mild bittering on the finish. Highly recommended.

Jun 3, 2006 Poured with a nice head that lasted and laced well. Appearance was a nice dark golden / light amber color. Mouthfeel was definitely carbonated. The flavor was light and refreshing with a nicely hopped touch. The finish is dry. An excellent summer choice of a beer and one that makes me think more positively about the kolsch style.

May 31, 2006 Updated: Jul 27, 2007Pours bright gold into a kolsch glass. Bright white efferesent micro-bubble head. Clean malt aromas. Upfront crisp malt with a clean dry, bitter hop finish. Refreshing and reapeatable.

Aroma of honeyish malt. Mouthfeel kind of light and dry. Some weepy lacing. Tastes of very mild maltiness with a honeyish aftertaste.
