| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 27, 2006 From 500ml bottle. Pours crystal clear gold, lots of carbonation. Thin white head. Aroma is malt - just mild malt. Flavor is more mild malt, a bit on the sweet side. Some honeylike notes, and a touch of a kind of tannic flavor. No bitterness whatsoever, just a sweet, bready malt. Body is light, bubbly, refreshing. Clean, mildly sweet finish. I began thinking this beer was blah, boring, but it somehow grew on me. Very easy drinking. GreenDragon (213), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 19, 2006 from a 5 litre party keg, courtsey of my neighbor who’s from the Koln area. This is my first kolsch, so I don’t really have a point of refference. Came out of the keg golden and bubbly, with a solid white head. Mlaty aroma. the flavor was very bready. I seriously thought for a moment that I was drinking rye bread. Interesting but not that enjoyable. I’ll have to see how other kolschs stack up. Jabswitch (213), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA

Bubbly, pale in color and taste. For the price, this was not a good experience. Pretty much a watery brew that can be topped by the standard macro brew. If you like taste, hops, citrus, sweetness, --please forget this one. Lunkie (1020), Glen Iris, Australia
