By far my favorite beer i had in Germany. Besides koelsch that was freshly brewed at pubs where you could only get that beer at that pub It’s far better then its rival beer which is Alt beer from Dusseldorf. This beer has outstanding flaver. It has the look of a light beer but a strong and filling taste. Good head and gold in color. LiebeBier (793), Annapolis, Maryland, USA

In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have bought this beer, it doesn’t represent the best of what this kind of beer can be. jewedekind (450), Middleton, Wisconsin, USA

Sharp on the tongue, then a clean finish. Bitter and crisp. Little hop character. Maltiness lingers throughout. Gotta love those Germans. A good quaff. kook (2034), Perth, Western Australia, Australia
