| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 4, 2005 Pale golden yellow with a small white head and tons of very tiny yeast particles suspended throughout. Aroma is sweet grass, fruity yeast (apple, pear), sweet pale malt, and mild spicy hops. Light bodied. Taste is a crisp sweet light malt followed by a fruity yeast, spicy hops, bitter grass, light pepper, and a light molasses. Finishes quite dry with notes of sweet cereal malt, grassy hops, and a bit of fruity sweetness. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 3, 2005 bottle-long story with this. My girlfriend came over for the basketball games and pizza. I poured this beer just before she got to my place. We started making out and then i knocked this beer over onto my carpet. Now i have Kolsch fragrance carpet! anyways, this beer pours a golden yellow with a small sudsy white head around the rim of the glass. Lemongrass, spicy hops, malt husks. This is a nice crisp kolsch with equal parts malt husks, german spicy hops and that hay flavor. well balanced and a good palate. would make an awesome lawnmower beer. Looks like i will be getting another bottle in CO when im up there this week! jbrus (4895), Delft, Netherlands
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 31, 2005 Bottled. Grainy aroma with skunky hops. Not that it’s bad but these aroma I get too much from mediocre German beers. Pale yellow color, white head that diminishes completely, no lace. Grainy start, light malty, rather hopbitter which turns into a metallic bitterness. Very light. Again, it’s not bad but no joy to drink it either. jokazi (8), Sarasota, Florida, USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 17, 2005 One of the Best Kolsch! Aromas of hay, malt, grass and meadow. Flavor is a complex melange of hops (but not bitter), herbs, and hay, with just a hint of malt and barley. Wonderful with a ham sandwich.
