Bright yellow pour with lots of carbonation. Aroma is light and grassy. Flavor is grass, some light fruit, pilsner malt. Very light bodied mouthfeel and nice carbonation. Easy to drink.

Reissdorf Kölsch is a very clear light yellow beer with a small white ring for a head. The aroma is a little pretzely, wooden and, most of all, fruity. It sure smells German. It is light bodied, prickly on the tongue, but quite smooth. The finish is a little metallic, but clean. It tastes lightly sweet and lightly bitter. It’s pretty quenching-- not that dry. This is squarely in the session realm.

Flavor: The real delight of this brew. The flavor is almost like a cider mixed with apple juice and has a distinct taste. I drank one of these months ago at a bar, just recently went to a store to purchase beer. The guy recommended this one to me, so i purchased it and realized it was the same beer I had already tried. The taste was very distinct from a lot of other beers. Overall impression: Very relaxing chill beer. Somewhat forgettable you could say.

12oz bottle. Pours golden with a fizzy white head. Smellls of grains and light corn. Tastes of grainy malts and nicely bittering hops. Very crisp and a good summers day refresher.

bottle, pours light gold, thin white head. Next to no aroma, light malt? Good delicate malt and hop flavors throughout, ending with a dry bitterness. Very refreshing, but lets down in most categories.

Nothing outstanding, a little on the classy side, sparkly. a good chugging beer, specially because of the moderate price. Will give you lots of gas.

12/10/08 From the bottle. Aroma is noble hop forward, a little too strong for style. Malt is reserved and bready. Appearance is clear straw with a moderate maintained white head, but fine for a kolsch. Flavor is a blend of moderately sweet malt with faint fruitiness and moderate bittering. Mouthfeel is medium low bodied with a moderate carb texture and a dry finish. Overal, clean but earthy, in a way that doesn’t mix with its dryness.

Pours light golden color with a pillowy pure white head. Somewhat faint aroma, sweet grain with a hint of spice. Nice bready flavor, some fruit as well. Light and crisp body, would be nice to have again on a hot summer day.
