D (505), Kraków, Poland May 5, 2008 I think this is what was previously sold as Smocza Glowa Golden Ale. Very nice look, thick head, nice herbal smell. Smooth taste, slightly fruity with bitter finish. Very good. larsga (2481), Oslo, Norway Feb 24, 2008 Thin coarse offwhite head. Beautiful deep amber body. Sugary malty taste with papery, hoppy notes, very faint. Dryish roasty malty taste with smoky honey notes and traces of herbal ash. Aftertaste is the same. Slightly oily mouthfeel. Not bad. (0.5l bottle from Spocywocy, Krakow. BBD Nov ’07.) omhper (11033), Stockholm, Sweden Nov 19, 2007 Bottled. Clear amber, absolutely flat, no head.Interesting apricot aroma. Sweet and hoeyish with well rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Notes of caramel and tropical fruits. Good bitterness. A peculiar beer with both unusal hop and malt flavours. e-prezes (9), Kraków, Poland does not count Dec 24, 2006 colour stronger than Smocza Głowa Amber Ale, bitternes more smoked than ale by Stary Kraków brewery, others quite not good. best beer this brewery! it’s a pity that only in bottle.
